Roles and ResponsibilitiesPurpose: -The incumbent is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan to increase revenuefrom the assigned business segment market across India. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to market intelligence to report new trends in the industry. He/she must build rapport with existing clients and help to develop new relationships based on his/her industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. He/she must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picturevision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. He/she must enjoy spending time in the market/field tounderstand the practical challenges and find innovative solutions for the broader marketResponsibilities: Lead one of the largest businesses in the Life Sciences industry through a team of senior regional leaders and frontline sales team; build a high performing team, develop and coach them for the current and future performance, Understand the larger organization product portfolio and leverage the same to create a comprehensive value proposition for customers Build strategy and execution model for ongoing growth of the business on a short and long term basis. Establish and implement regional business plan on a quarterly and annual basis Ability to understand the market, competition and develop strategy based on customer/product segmentation and as per market needs and progression towards closing of business timelines Manage product margin mix through price and product mix levers with support from local and global teams Build strategic relationships with key customers to enable long term revenue generation and business partnership Build strategic relationships with our network of distributors to maintain sales targets in their geographies and ensure closure of sales opportunities Ensure that the sales team customer satisfaction objectives are met or exceeded and overall Scientific promoter score is improved in the market Work closely with the Service team to build effective processes, policies that will ensure post sales support Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and other cross functional teams to create robust end to end processes with a customer centric approach Manage complex sales cycle with the ability to manage shipments from Indi a as well as overseas factories spread across the globe Strategize and build optimal organization structures and teams to enhance business productivity in line with professional growth Manage multiple stakeholders both locally and globally to enable smooth business operations from order flow to order fulfilment inventory management Lead/participate in projects that lead to process improvements and/or business gain for the long term Keep abreast on market and customer research to provide knowledge about market and industry to internal and external customers Implement all field sales policies and procedures with regards to resource management, account maintenance and management, and Sales operation Domestic travel of at least 35% to build and maintain customer relationships and build senior leadership distributor/company connects,
