*The Global Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the entire IT Infrastructure within the Piramal Group, across sectors and geographies. The individual will be responsible for establishment of the vision and strategy for IT Infrastructure for the group as well as implementation and operations, which includes IT workplace or End User Computing services, enterprise network services including unified communications as well as datacenter services management and public cloud workloads. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.Strategy Development:Partners with Group CIO & Senior IT leaders to lead the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the enterpriseProvide infrastructure services vision & strategy, enable innovation and seek to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company s digital vision and expectations.Own, manage and implement projects that support the development of the group infrastructure strategy IT Infrastructure:Accountable for all Infrastructure solutions and services across datacenter, network and security services as well as end user computing services provided to the business user community, globallyEnsure best in class global delivery practices to fulfill availability requirements and cost effectiveness Assess and introduce latest innovations in the IT Infrastructure space to the businessDesign IT Infrastructure service models aligning to business modelsOwn global program and delivery management for all infrastructure projects and infrastructure parts of business/application programs/projectsLead the formulation, implementation and monitoring of IT service level agreements across the group for IT Infrastructure servicesHands-on technical depth led direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.Design and deployment of comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operationsDevelop a single cohesive strategy for the delivery of cloud and data center services by leveraging optimal cloud delivery modelsStakeholder Management:Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organizationManagement of key suppliers to ensure availability of core services for all global Piramal employeesActive integration and coordination of all services including accountability for all escalations as well as continuous improvement for all contracted services.Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partnersBudget:Budget accountability for all IT Infrastructure expense and portfolio budgets. Identifying proactive opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvements, *Post Graduate Degree qualification in IT-related discipline and/or significant experience in a similar role
