Job Description

Responsible for driving operational excellence of GMAIST through project and resource tracking, planning and decision support. This operational support is across the range of GMAIST services includingMaintenance and defense activities of HBU and legacy IM portfolios for GMAIST and GMPEAnalysis/Synthesis of HBU related DFOs to generate actionable medical insightsManaging Clopine Central Registry for Australia and New ZealandHazard analysis and clinical evaluations support to PGS Medical Devices GroupPublication writing and Publication Datavision OperationsReference checking for Global promotional / M2M materials (during transition period)The GMAIST Operations role will also play a critical role for supporting the GMAIST Lead for coordinating talent sourcing efforts, compliance and training co-ordination / tracking. The GMAIST Operations role will be based in India and is an integral member of the GMAIST team reporting to the HBU Medical Excellence Lead with a strong dotted line to the GMAIST Senior Manager.GMAIST Operational Leadership

  • Ensures tracking of completed, ongoing and planned projects across range of GMAIST services
  • Ensures tracking of past, current and planned resource utilization across range of GMAIST services
  • Aligns with GMAIST Lead to allocate resources/staffing to new projects that meet the project need with colleague capabilities/experience and available capacity
  • Drive generation of metrics and client feedback on completed projects lead synthesis/ analysis of feedback and develop recommendations for improvements/modifications
  • Lead project and resource reporting, metrics and informational updates to key stakeholders
  • Co-ordinates in partnership with the GMAIST Lead, the colleague recruitment efforts
  • Lead execution and training and capability development initiatives and track colleague participation in various trainings
  • Develop and manage communications in partnership with the GMAIST Lead leveraging different media
  • Co-ordinate onboarding of new colleagues
  • Manage key GMAIST meetings
  • Provide project management support for key GMAIST projects / initiatives
  • Lead appropriate GMAIST projects/initiatives as assigned by GMAIST/HBU Medical leadership
  • Co-ordinate budget management and tracking for GMPE/GMAIST and other assigned HBU teams
Medical Excellence
  • Ensures medical professionalism and compliance in everything that is done/achieved
  • Champions change and best practices sharing, utilizing knowledge and information sharing across GMAIST
  • Lead efforts for driving quality and compliance of GMAIST - maintains the highest standards of training and compliance within the team
  • Ensures delivery of all assigned activities within expected timelines and on budget - establishes and attains agreed key performance indices for the relevant activities
QualificationsEducation
  • Master s degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor s degree with 5 years of experience.
Experience
  • Trained/experienced in project management and moderately complex negotiation, facilitation and managing cross-functional team dynamics
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge and proficiency with general office software (e.g., MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, Acronis)
  • Skilled in utilizing Teleconference & WebEx Services, SharePoint (advanced skill necessary to train new team members), and software unique to Medical Affairs including ONEMED, and MEDIC
  • Possesses excellent communication skills with an ability to respond with professionalism in verbal as well as written communications.
  • Able to interact, influence and work effectively with a diverse group of colleagues, senior leaders, and peers
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving and project management skills, owning accountability, and resourcefulness and perseverance through ambiguous situations. Demonstrates owning accountability and resourcefulness with ability to anticipate needs.
  • Must be able to work independently, be proactive, solution-oriented, and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks with frequent, tight deadlines
  • Excellent judgment and ability to work with confidential documents and information
