Job Description

1) Job PurposeThe purpose of the job is to provide technical pre-sales and administration support to the entire Group Business Sales Team.2) Job Context & Major Challenges(What are the specific aspects of the job that provide a challenge to the jobholder in the context of the Unit/Zone Key Challenges for the role–To maintain an error free TAT throughout the process in a scenario where most of the deliverables are dependent on the outputs of other functions.Effective coordination and follow up with different departments to be able to deliver to sales team within these TATs3) Principal AccountabilitiesAccountabilitySupporting ActionsProcess raw client information for the preparation of quotes and defined benefit valuation estimationsCrunch relevant data into an actuarially readable format, cross-checking for and inputting critical technical information required for the purpose of generating the terms and conditions for every group term proposal. Re-negotiate with the Actuarial on the above for a quote meeting or closest possible to, client requirementsCrunching and analysing raw client data for generation of defined benefit valuation estimationsProviding inputs to and obtaining from, external actuaries where applicable for such estimationsProvide regular support to the Sales teamHandling for the Fund and Term Businesses, client specific requirements for customised requests for proposals ( RFPs)Co-ordinating internally and with other departments for relevant information and ensuring despatch to the sales team on timeInteracting with the investment team for regular updates and information for the Sales Teams as well as facilitating interactionPreparing Sales Illustrations Co-ordinating with the Investments Team to be a one-stop repository and provider of investment information to the Sales TeamCo-ordinating between investments and sales teams for monthly con-call activityBacking up for all activities done by the Group Analytics Team in the absence of any team member to ensure the team meets its commitment levels to the sales functionTenders and RFP ProcessingCo-ordination and collation of all incremental data for the sales team for use in Tender and RFP ProcessingCo-ordination with various departments for signoffs and document flows to ensure they reach the client on time.Maintaining updated information from Planning, Accounts and Investments as a single point resource for the Sales Team
