Job Description

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Director. Supervises: Manager / JuniorBDPersonnel Functional relationship with: Directors,BDHead, DesignHead, ProjectHeadand Accounts/FinanceHead. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Planning To be a part of the Strategy team in order to identify, evaluate and implement new lucrative business propositions (new product/ service /market). To be responsible for new product/ service conceptualization To design team goals and ensure the attainment of the same. To ensure development and implementation of Product/Service & Brand related strategies as per objectives agreed with management and navigate strategy from time to time in response to changing internal/ external business context. 2. Sales & Marketing To achieve 100% organizational sales targets for the year and build a robust biz pipeline Involvement in pitching and presentation. This could include presentations with various departments of the prospective client and will require meticulous planning and proposal writing and documentation along with subordinates. Key focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales responsible for business development across PAN India locations. To deploy suitable market research tools to gauge the business landscape and competitor activities, client requirement etc., to gain the competitive edge. Participate in creating an annual sales plan in tandem with leadership team. Communicate the sales plan to all levels across various team that need to be part of pitching process. Be part of the Project Team at pitching stage and endeavor to bring the interaction to a positive closure. 3. Delivery/Operations To schedule appointments and interact with potential clients, preparing and delivering presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements. Understanding the client s requirements and ensure the same is understood accurately by consultants and the designs sent by consultants are in tandem with the brief. To implement company systems, processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall operations and enhance operational efficiency. Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business, is the key role. To review client-wise resource allocation & utilization & take efficiency enhancement measures. To work as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organization. 4. Commercial and finance To review the projected P&L V/S Actual computed by the Project finance manager for all projects and be responsible for profit shortfall. To arrive at annual budget, get it approved from the Directors. Be responsible for allocation, adjustment and deviation. Ensure significant changes are approved by the directors. To communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. 5. Client Relationship Management To ensure that client requirements are captured, understood, agreed and delivered in a manner which creates positive client perception by engaging in constant expectation setting with client organization at all levels required. To ensure that the client feels involved and engaged throughout the designing and execution process thereby feeling that they are getting what they desire. 6. Team Management To create annual training plan (technical/ non-technical). Be available as facilitator for technical training and induction. Commit to releasing people in a timely manner for developmental activities. To partner with HR for ensuring timely execution of Performance management, rewards and recognition, employee engagement activities. To develop a strong team spirit amongst the team players.
