What is the Opportunity This role is responsible for managing the CFCC function in Europe and the UK, and CCIB Advisory in Europe and the UK, which includes direct management of the CCIB CFCC team in Europe and the UK, and CCIB Advisory in Europe and the UK.What will you do

• This role is also responsible for the oversight of the execution of the various Group CFCC frameworks within the UK and Europe which are designed to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, procedures and codes so SCB operates within the letter and spirit of the law and in so doing protect the reputation of the SCB with its regulators and balance the needs of other stakeholders.
• This role has first line responsibility for the implementation of CFCC policies and procedures, to the extent the processes have been identified as owned by the CFCC function, in line with the Group s process universe as set out in the Group Operational Risk Framework, including activities within the processes owned by the CFCC function.
• This role has overall second line responsibility for CFCC with regulatory requirements in the UK, including internal Regulatory CFCC policies and procedures, for assets booked to SCB London.
• As a senior member of the CFCC function and CCIB Advisory, this role is responsible to make a significant contribution to the strategic vision, direction of the Group s overall approach and direction for CFCC. This role assumes primary responsibility for the day to day oversight of the CFCC function and CCIB Advisory in the UK and Europe, including issues of importance or relevance to the UK and Europe and execution delivery of the finalised strategy. This role is responsible to ensure effectiveness of the Groups management of CFCC and regulatory risk issues by taking responsibility and leadership in the UK and Europe.

What do you need to succeed

• Substantial experience in compliance and regulatory risk management (including financial crime risk management).
• Sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return), strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and multi cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Exemplary integrity, ethics, independence and resilience.
• Personal authority with proven ability to establish relationships and provide strong direction at the most senior levels of the Group and with regulators and other external stakeholders.
