Job Description

    - The person will directly supervise the Finance & Accounts function of the Company and its Project SPVs. He will report to the Senior Management and will directly assist in all strategic and tactical matters related to budgeting and financial forecasting, Corporate regulatory compliances etc.- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the Companys mission- Oversee the management and coordination of all accounting activities of the Company /Project SPVs including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports on project funding, monitoring of organisational budgets- Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organizations needs and monitor banking activities of the organization- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization & Project SPVs- Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory requirements under Company and Tax (Direct and Indirect) Laws and and maintenance of requisite documentation- Supervise internal, statutory and tax auditsRequirements - - First Class Commerce degree (preferably Honours) and a Chartered Accountant from ICAI - Post qualification work experience of 15+ years, preferable to have handled finance and accounts of a Renewable Energy Company- Understanding of the current trends and developments in the Finance & Accounts area including IFRS- Expert knowledge of Indian Tax Laws - Direct and Indirect (GST) and regulations- Preferable if has had hands on experience in working on anAccounting ERP (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle etc)- Experience in creating and assessing financial statements and budget documents- Supervise staff, including regular progress reviews and plans for improvement- Communicate effectivelyin both written and verbal formThis position is for a Client of Vertex Corporate Services which is a Renewable Energy Power Producing Company,
