Job Description

    CA/MBA Full time - Head Financial Planning and MIS - Mumbai1. Strategize and Build Finance Business Partnership with functional stakeholders2. Ensure creation of robust and risk adjusted financial plans for the company on short term and long term basis3. Act as a soundboard to CFO, Business Council and Cross Functional key stakeholders on key financial matters4. Provide support & financial governance on strategic initiatives across organization5. Be a key stakeholder in finance leadership team and be a great team leader.Key functional ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partner:1. Lead and Enable Finance Business Partnering with various departments2. Translate business needs into financial strategy3. Impart financial expertise for complex BAU activities4. Enable and Support business processes with key stakeholders (SCM, Operations, Dev, HR)Planning/Strategy/MIS:5. Ensures alignment of the strategic plans and financial plans, across functions6. Financial simulations and scenario building enabling effective decision making by senior management7. Assist in formulating companys strategy by providing senior management data and insights for financial planning8. Provide necessary inputs & drive 31Q planning exercise9. Ensures effective cascade of the business plans with Operations Head and monitors performance measures10. Help formulate quarterly business plans in line with Annual Financial Plan11. Supervise development of store by store quarterly financial plansAnalytics:12. Built a strong Analytics capability for the organization13. Enabling stronger decision making basis data and intuition14. Built Analytics road map with stakeholders defining problem statements to be resolved and future orientedOther Functional Responsibilities:15. Advise effective implementation of accounting policies, adherence to corporate policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with Internal Controls and Head of Accounting and Tax.16. Provides support to CFO in managing capex requests and budgeting processes17. Support Functional TeamsPeople Management Responsibilitiesa. Recruit, Retain, Develop Talents in FP&Ab. Build high performance culture based on accountability led empowermentc. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholdersd. Drive simplicity and efficiency with focus on high performing culturee. Set KRAs for direct reports, monitor overall department KRAs, conduct performance appraisalf.
