Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Design appropriate staffing plans with the Business, in line with the Plan for the year Implement specific recruitment strategy, to support unforeseen business needs Ensure efficient on-boarding of new hires and include them as part of the talent development initiatives wherever appropriate Responsible for the entire Performance Management Process and conduct workshops to ensure clarity on the optimum usage of this tool which will be the only source reference document for future records on employee progression and performance. Ensure adequate training is provided to all staff. Conduct a detailed training need analysis as part of the process Retain Talent by a proper mix of promoting internal progression and hiring specialists to participate in the growth plans thereby supporting the Management to strengthen the succession pipeline. Conduct Compensation Surveys on an annual/need basis and provide input to the Management on the gaps for all positions and suggest corrective actions as part of the Annual Compensation review process Provide the base to prepare the HR Budget each year (Staff salary costs, training costs, recruitment cost, etc) Process the payroll including statutory deductions as applicable and ensure appropriate timely deduction of tax other mandatory contributions. Ensure that the HRIS system is being updated on a real time basis for any kind of data required to be provided to internal as well as external stakeholders (including the regulators internal / statutory auditors) Manage the contract staff relationship through the approved vendor as per the rules and guidelines and by safeguarding the interests of the company at all points in time by being compliant to the required laws. All Labour issues to be resolved on a timely basis in the best possible manner by consulting the empanelled lawyers jointly with the Local legal teams thereby pre-empt and minimize all kind of risks (people, money, brand, etc) Provide updates/MIS to the Senior Management team on a quarterly / regular basis in order to help facilitate appropriate managerial decisions concerning employees. Share HR plans and events in advance to enable Management participation in all HR projects All reporting to local authorities as per the guidelines to be followed to avoid any kind of unpleasant notice / claim / liabilities to the Company. Manage all Exits in the most appropriate manner to avoid any kind of issues at a later date which may put the Company in a difficult situation with the Media or other external authorities. In case of involuntary exits, liaise closely with Corporate Communication team to ensure minimum or no reputation impact. Extend and continuously upgrade the benefits programme to the organisations employees at reasonable cost in line with Market Practice. This is critical from the retention point of view. A proper approval process in terms for budgeting for these upgrades is very important. Participate in all the transversal projects being driven by either local or global teams. DESIRED SKILLS : Strong Leadership Good Communication skills Capability to Negotiate Good Analytical and Organizational skills Timely decision making backed by a good sense of addressing critical points and prioritizing Ability to work in a diverse and fast-changing environment. Ability to influence outcomes.Candidates should be MBAs from premium B schools with a specialization in Human Resources and have between 15 to 20 years relevant experience.,
