Head IT & Infrastructure We have been retained by our client, a well- established, professionally managed foreign bank to identify a Head IT & Infrastructure to be based at Mumbai JOB PURPOSE: To be responsible for the delivery and management of a reliable IT infrastructure for voice and data services within the organization, ensuring that service levels for performance, availability and support are achieved through the internal IT infrastructure team or external service providers. To develop a full understanding of the IT requirements of the organization and implement infrastructure solutions that meet IT service and strategic objectives.To manage security and disaster recovery in relation to IT infrastructure, including the documentation, communication and implementation of related policies and procedures.RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement. Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company s requirements and expectations.To manage partnerships with external suppliers for IT infrastructure services including, support services, change management, consultation services and the production and distribution of regular reports against KPI s and costs. To monitor the performance of the IT infrastructure, ensuring that it is optimized and that future capacity planning in undertaken. To maintain and implement effective IT infrastructure policies, standards, procedures and guidelines. To research and recommend changes to the IT infrastructure architecture, ensuring that all new and enhanced facilities are effectively project managed and thoroughly tested, before being implemented in the production environment.Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process.Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners Works closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the Governance with the partners. Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.Participate in the formulation of the companys enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.Hands- on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem- solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting. Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly- available server and network architectures.Delivering services as per defined SLA signed with clients and mapping the same with OLA signed with service providers.DESIRED SKILLS : High levels of IT literacy Structured way of workingGood attention to detail in all aspects of work Able to prioritize and work under pressure Good interpersonal and team leadership skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCANDIDATE PROFILE: Candidates should be an Engineering Graduate or MCA or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution with 10 - 15 years relevant experience in Banking Industry.,
