Job Description

    Position: Head of Accounts & FinanceQualification: Inter-CAExperience: 7-8 yrs.Location: Mumbai
    • Maintenance of the books of accounts including finalizations and statutory audit and tax audit and any other audit related work
    • Preparation of monthly salary of employees, attendance & payroll and statutory compliances thereof
    • Handling the indirect taxations, GST, PT, PF and other taxes, charges, cess, fees and compliances thereof including all monthly, quarterly, annual or other returns as required.
    • Handling of direct tax matters monthly TDS, assistance to Companys Counsel, CA, Advisors in Income tax assessments.
    • All banking work and reconciliations
    • Oversee monthly billing and invoicing
    • Manage receivables and payments, credit controls
    • Setting up checks & balances and credit controls
    • Preparation of reports, MIS as required by management, Directors, including cash flow, ageing, monthly financials etc.
    • Assisting the management, Directors to improve operational efficiencies
    • Any other accounting & financial related work or assignment as may be required
    Skills needed:
    • Must have a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
    • Experience working on Monthly close (MIS reporting)
    • Knowledge of Various compliances under Direct Tax - Income Taxes (TCS, TDS) and indirect tax- GST etc.
    • Good Knowledge of accounting, finance & taxation
    • Strong communicator, especially in English
    • Excellent computer skills and knowledge in Word, Excel, Tally Prime and other FA packages
