Job Description

Vestas CEO > SBU ASP > WTG Sales ManagementVestas Asia Pacific covers Asia excluding China, as well as Australia and New Zealand. The unit is responsible for the sale, execution and maintenance of Vestas sustainable energy solutions into these markets. The Strategy, Transformation, MarCom and Public Affairs ASP department is responsible for the regions strategy formulation and execution, the business transformation that delivers growth in top and bottom line, as well as Marketing & Communications, plus Public Affairs.The Head of Transformation role improves and implements the transformation agenda, and is critical to Vestas Asia Pacifics strategic milestone in terms of growth of revenue and profitability in the coming five years. This role requires working collaboratively across functions and geographies to craft, implement and guide cross-functional teams to develop and promote the transformation agenda. The role will work closely with the management to review value proposition, business processes, structures, operational set-ups, generate initiatives to improve efficiency and performance. This is all with the primary focus on delivering significant and sustainable improvement, efficiency and performance across the value chain that translates into revenue and profitability expansion.The Head of Business Transformation has a holistic and big-picture approach to transformation and provide advice and guidance to line of business leaders and owners of initiatives.Responsibilities

  • Develop the transformation roadmap that translates the strategic direction and business goals into holistic transformation initiatives with tangible performance benefits.
  • Partner with management and the different functions to identify areas of opportunity to achieve collective achievement under the transformation agenda.
  • Define metrics and targets and establish robust monitoring and reporting process against the defined targets.
  • Establish mechanism to supervise effective execution of the projects and initiatives to ensure that the outcomes are in line with the strategic goals and within the defined timeline and allocated resources
  • Work with a cross-functional transformation team to collaborate with functional and market teams.
  • Focus on financial performance improvements in the medium and long-term.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Masters degree/MBA, coupled with at least ten years of professional experience.
  • At least five years in finance or strategy related roles, that include change management, transformation agenda, turn arounds or business performance management.
  • Solid business and financial understanding, and a proven proven history to bring improvement and growth initiatives, or identification of new business opportunities.
  • Experience in strategic planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated exposure across the value chain, incl. sales and operations.
