Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Head Mortgages - Sales Asset Department (Grade: AGM )About the role:This is a senior leadership role. We are looking for an experiencedprofessional who would Set up sales team and ensure distribution channel build up. He/ She shall be responsible for Business origination from Branches and New to Bank Channels by taking all necessary steps including timely and appropriate Budgeting, Hiring, actioning Marketing plans for ultimate achievement of assigned Targets.He/ she should have a solid professional background and a well proven track record of having handled similar role in the banks / NBFC of good repute.Experience of working in a Co-Operative Bank would be an added advantage.Education, experience and certification requirements:
    • Graduate / Post graduate MBA.
    • Minimum of 10 years work experience at senior management roles at a Bank / NBFC of good repute
    • Business Management experience is MANDATORY
    • MUSThave lead a larger team (say team of 30 + employees)
    Age: Preferably Below 45 YearsJob Responsibilities:
    • Setting up of Business team within defined budgets and timelines.
    • Providing inputs for policy formation in sync with regulations and market competition.
    • Maximizing profitability by maintaining targeted IRR and fee incomes.
    • Coordination with advocates /panel lawyers for finalization of various documents conducting extensive research work, corresponding with counsels, and ensuring quality of mortgaged properties paperwork, in collaboration with legal team.
    • Liaison with various authorities, agencies and departments
    • Initiating & drive primary collection to ensure no non-starter cases and no early delinquency within 18 months.
    • Initiate & drive appropriate action against willful defaulter in deserving cases
    • Training & development of teams.
    • Helping Stressed Asset department for progressing legally to attach properties not mortgaged to bank.
    • Reviewing and undertaking initiatives to streamline & strengthen internal processes, systems & practices to reduce litigation cases & expenses and effectuating plans to achieve faster case closures & recovery
