Head- Products We have been retained by our client, a well established, professionally managed NBFC (Non- Banking Finance Company), part of a Multi National Bank, to identify a Head Products to be based in Mumbai. JOB PURPOSE: To maintain relationships with the key teams in the company to ensure successful launch and monitoring of products.To develop new products and analyze current products while working closely with all stake holders, marketing, operations and sales teams.To develop new product ideas and see them through implementation.Develop the long- term product offering and strategy for category in conjunction with the overarching business strategy.RESPONSIBILITIES: Conceptualize and create/ enhance new products and services in Retail business.Take ownership of the product development/ improvement process to facilitate implementation of the departmental plans.Identify new business opportunities and fine tuning existing products or roll out of new products in line with business opportunities.Responsible for filing and obtaining approval of the products with management and compliance with regulatory authorities.Post launch, review of rollouts and initiate corrective measures for the launched products to achieve stated objectives. Continually review the existing product portfolio and their profitability for the company, through a focused and market insight based process, ensuring incorporation of market feedback.Improve transaction yields.Ensure effective hand- offs with the key teams at Head Office/ Regions/ Branches post the design and approval of the product.Review all MIS Reports and take corrective action in case of variances.Work in close partnership with other Functional heads to ensure compliance with corporate values, guidelines, processes, and controls, across all aspects of the business.Work closely with customer acquisition and retention as well as operating teams to achieve monthly and quarterly commercial goals for the products.Work closely with the Marketing, Sales and Customer Care team to ensure that they are equipped in the best possible way to sell and advise on the product.To improve upon existing products and features based on market research.DESIRED SKILLS : Ownership of the job on hand and has the will and determination to get it done under high pressure. Strong execution skills and also a fine strategic mind.
