Job Description

    • Head of Savings Account Products for India. Responsible for designing and executing propositions to better serve affluent and emerging affluent clients and deposits business for India.
    Strategy and Business
    • End to end responsibility and P&L ownership for Savings Products
    • Develop and execute on short term and long-term business strategy to build competitive advantage and gain retail business market share
    • Develop and execute on Savings product roadmap to deliver growth while maintaining operational resilience
    • Responsible for formulating and executing digital payments strategy including partnerships with new entrants in digital landscape
    • Grow SA across markets and provide thought leadership on new business models and ways of working
    People and Talent
    • Lead through example and build culture of collaboration across teams
    • Employ, engage, and develop high quality talent with succession planning for critical roles
    • Partner with HR and create robust development program for product and teams in line with changing banking landscape
    Regulatory & Business Conduct
    • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s values and code of conduct
    • Manage external interfaces with regulator and industry groups
    • Ensure robust risk and control environment and lead product and segment teams to achieve the outcomes laid out in Bank s conduct principles
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
    Risk Management
    • Discipline in HR and training related matters, Operational Risk Standards
    • Attend training, acquire knowledge and apply to job function requirements
    • Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements
    • Ensure CDD, MLP & TCF diligence and adherence to operational risk controls and procedures in day-to-day management
    • Zero tolerance of risk and compliance breaches
    • Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements, reflect best practices
    • Ensure no adverse findings in internal / external audit, governance and compliance review
    • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager

    • Must be a graduate. MBA s will be preferred.
    • Sales experience of at-least 10 years. Prior work experience in Employee Banking / B2B sales would be preferred.
    • Should possess strong people management skills, leadership skills and demonstrated track record of excellence in sales.
    • Must have managed a team size of at least 40 people.
    • Experience in handling Deposit and Asset Products of a Bank would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
    • Work Experience across multiple geographies will be an advantage.
    • Strong communication and persuasive skills, along with the ability to work across silos, functions and senior stakeholders.
    • Strong inter-personal skills, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
