Roles and responsibilities Head- Cost Management (Civil)| Navi Mumbai Head- Cost Management (Civil)| Navi Mumbai | Our client is a MNC having presence in 50+ countries and the leading global Design & Consultancy firm Applying their deep market sector insights and their cost and project management services, collective design, consultancy, and engineering skills, they work in partnership with their clients to deliver exceptional and sustainable outcomes. We are searching a right fit for their Head cost management- Civil position. - Responsible for all the project deliveries - Role involves Client and client stakeholder management. - Understanding Client requirements and developing cost solutions to drive cost efficiencies. - Pre / Post contract Management. - Design Economics, Cost Planning & Cost benefits analysis. - Benchmarking, cost trending & forecasting of project costs. - Project financial control & reporting (Budget monitoring, variance analysis & corrective actions). - Participate in Value Management / Value Engineering exercises as fitting to align the design requirements with program and budgetary restraints. - Preparation of Tender document, BOQs. - Reviewing drawings / specifications / pricing documents received from projects and or third parties to incorporate into tender documentation. - Managing process of Tendering & Procurement, including pre- qualification, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents - Responsibilities included estimation, budgeting, cost planning, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, Cost and Commercial Management etc. - Preparing Estimates, Budgets and Cost Plans etc. as per Concept drawings. - Suggest and provide inputs during design development at various stages (Concept to Detail designs) to optimize cost without hampering the anticipated results or final product and achieve maximum value for money benefits. - Develop, recommend procurement strategies (Construction level) to suit client requirements and needs. - Suggest and advice use of appropriate tender forms for tendering and procurement. - Conduct value engineering sessions provide inputs and associated cost impacts to clients for ease of decision and derive cost saves. - Prepare tender documentation in line with the procurement strategy, select and prequalify suitable contractors. - Float tenders, review tenders received, conduct negotiation, prepare tender analysis and make recommendations to client. - Conduct final negotiation interview with clients. - Final account closure and claims management.,
