Job Description

    Designation : Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Finance & AccountsLocation - Mumbai, MHYour roles and responsibilities :1. Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions based on accounting standards, including providing advice on application of accounting standards 2. Preparing statutory reports and filing with the regulators, including liaising with external auditors 3. Hold board meetings and ensure all required regulations are met 4. Tax submissions (corporate tax, GST/VAT and withholding tax), including engaging tax consultants and service providers 5. Provide tax advice for projects and deals 6. Cash management for the country, including bank relationship and ensuring sufficient cashflow7. Ensure fit-for-purpose internal controls balancing between risks and costs 8. Maintain Authorization Matrix, ensuring that it is up-to-date, and provide advice on application9. Remain compliant and have high quality accounting and reporting 10. Lead implementation or upgrade of new systems, including ERP 11. Support and facilitate master database set-up and clean-upWho you are :1. A qualified Chartered Account - with 3 to 5 years of work experience (a must) 2. Minimum 2 years of experience - with manufacturing industry Finance Professional independently capable of handling financial accounting, audits. statutory and tax regulations besides other areas 3. Strong accounting and financial background with good exposure to audits and taxes. 4.
