Position Objective: To translate content from English to Hindi for PETA India s website, videos, letters, and other documents and to assist with the content and management of PETA India s Hindi website and social media pagesTerm of Employment: Full-timeReports to: Senior Coordinator Vernacular OutreachLocation: Delhi or MumbaiPrimary Responsibilities and Duties: Make precise and comprehensive translations of written English content into Hindi for PETA India s website, social media, news releases, media statements, newsletters, video scripts, billboards, leaflets, letters, demonstration materials, and other important projects that further the organisation s mission Meet deadlines Apply knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA India to translations in order to ensure accuracy Assist in maintaining PETA India s Hindi website, including by following standard operating procedures for uploading content Assist in content development and management of PETA India s Hindi Facebook page, including by making approved, polite, informative replies to users engaging on the page Stay up to date with PETA India s campaigns to ensure accurate Hindi content Maintain a positive attitude and helpful mindset Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisorQualifications: Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Hindi Professional translation experience a plus Proficiency with using Hindi language fonts Strong understanding of social media and viral trends Social media and website content management a plus Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and general computer use Excellent time-management and organisational skills Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines Excellent attention to detail Support for PETA India s philosophy and the ability to advocate for PETA India s positions on issues professionally Commitment to the objectives of the organisationHow to Apply: To apply for a position with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, please complete this form .,
