Greetings from CMS IT Services !We are hiring For Asset-Vendor Coordinator. Interested candidates may send in their resume for the rounds of discussion.Location - Mumbai - Kurla (Looking For Near By Candidates Only).Experience - 3 YearsOnly Male Candidates and Immediate Joiners Required.

• Acknowledging new joiner requests in ITAM & track it till closure
• Seeking approval from Customer for asset allocation
• Requesting OEMs for asset delivery across PAN customer locations
• Tracking asset delivery through OEM
• Aligning engineers for asset installation
• Ensuring timely handover of asset to the user post standard installation
• Tagging of asset to the correct user & sending installation completion report & data to Finance teams
• Forecasting of new joiner data & enabling stocking of assets at various locations
• Network & server assets to be managed through the respective tools of the customer or any new tool that may be procured in the near future
• Fixed asset register reconciliation
• Standardize hostnames as per the customer approved nomenclature
• Create and maintain the asset information base (on tool) for in-scope assets which are connected to the network
• All assets should have an owner and location mapped to it in the tool.
• Maintaining the asset inventory with 100% accuracy all time.
• Tracking of warranty details of in-scope assets
• Tracking of new installations and removal of out of service assets through the logged service tickets only
• Tracking of in-scope asset movement through request ticket logged onto the tool only
• Provide management with information on install base of standard softwares on agreed desktop & laptops
• Carrying out Half Yearly physical asset verification* for in-scope assets
• Provide physical asset verification report.
• Compare physical asset verification report with tool generated asset inventory and identify the discrepancies and take corrective actions as required.
• Generate automated asset management reports
• The IMAC activity defined as;
• Install is defined as installation of
• New Assets with standard software and application clients as per list of desktop software and application client list agreed between CMS IT & Customer
• Printers and other components in the IT Infrastructure list owned or purchased by Customer
• Move is defined as
• Un-installation or permanent disconnection of currently installed system or peripherals attached to the unit. If there is a dependency from the service providers or the suppliers of the affected system, then co-ordinate the same with service providers to execute the move
• Reinstallation of the same system, which could be
• Within the same premises
• At a different location of Customer
• In case of disconnection the system will have to be moved to the store area provided by Customer
• Add is defined as
• Installing the standard software agreed along with Customer on to the currently installed systems
• Change is defined as
• Hardware - Any modification in the configuration of the existing installed system with respect to hardware upgrades within the system for agreed configuration item
• Software Modification in parameters to the currently installed standard software as defined in operating procedures for agreed configuration item Process
• End user raises Service Request for asset servicing / repairing / broken / disposal
• Field engineer analyzes the issue and obtains repairing cost from OEM / Supplier
• IT asset manager reviews the repairing cost vs WDV vs asset life Vs warranty
• Approval for disposal is obtained from asset manager and line manager
• Asset marked for disposal
• List of disposal assets is prepared on yearly / half yearly periodicity
• Obtaining value of asset from Finance team
• Asset disposal approval from IT asset disposal committee
• Approved disposal list is sent to procurement team for obtaining fair value from e- waste CMS IT
• Disposed/Scrapped Asset inventory updated
• Note: Maintain Asset Disposal list of (old working assets (Not under warranty and Written Down Value (WDV) as zero) but no longer in use / not acceptable to users/ Technology obsolesce etc. approved by IT Authority and share with Customer disposal committee for approval
• Report shortfalls periodically and assist in procurement of licenses
• Responsible for recording the change as per CMDB in asset management tool and update SLA and would not be involved in physical movements/change in above process
