Position Title: Head of SEODesignation: Department second-in-commandLocation: Mumbai. Travel, as circumstances warrant Reporting Manager: VP MarketingReplacement/ New Position: New PositionPurpose of the role :- To provide leadership to the existing SEO & Performance Marketing team to evolve our crowd funding platform into a world class experience for our fundraisers and a tool for providing intelligent insights for our internal team. Roles & Responsibilities :1. Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, Conduct keyword research to guide content.2. Coordinating content, design, social media, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing and other activities.3. Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics, Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum site engagement and high performing competitive keyword rankings.4. Work to strict content deadlines and keep up to date with industry news in order to produce reactive news content.5. Managing offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance.6. Increase organic and referral traffic volumes on the company sites with the overall goal of increasing conversions.7. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our companys profitability.8. Work with in house content writer, operations, Business development and PR specialist to ensure the content is relevant to SEO strategy and keyword focus Requirements/Desired Skills.9. Analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.10. Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. Creative thinking to bring new ideas forward in order to increase our online visibility11. Experience with SEO reporting.12. Familiarity with relevant tools and web analytics tools, Experience in SEO management positions preferably within an agency.13. Strategically running the search function, with overall responsibility for quality of work and revenue across the agency.14. To successfully deliver hands-on search related activity achieving significant results for clients against their objectives, To provide leadership to an established team of search specialists.Indicative KRAs :1. Develop and execute successful SEO strategies.2. Manage team of SEO Specialists3. Conduct keyword research to guide content teams4. Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes5. Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy6. Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)7. Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects8. Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns9. Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends.10. Timely & accurate reportingKey interactions:Internal: ImpactGuru Co-Founders & their office, Creative, Marketing, Communication, Social Media, Tech/Product operations, business development, et al.Professional Experiences :1. Minimum of 6 years experience as SEO or SEM Manager in India (mandatory)2. Minimum of 4 years experience in Senior SEO Manager role in designing and delivering3. SEO plans and strategies in fast paced businesses in India (mandatory) 4. Prior experience in a start-up environment is definite plus5. Directly reporting to CEO, Co-Founders for at least 2 years (mandatory)6. Experience of directly engaging with C-level executives of clients Qualifications :- MBA/Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or any other related field. or equivalent practical experience.
