Hiring for Head HSEJob Description1) Development of HSE Department Plan and budget :Develop MGL HSE strategic direction and contribute towards development of organizational business plan for achievement of the sameDesign and develop annual and six monthly plans for training interventions relevant to safety compliance2) Define HSE Guidelines :Responsible for developing HSE standards and metrics basis on which audits need to be undertakenEstablish Corporate HSE guidelines to various levels within the company3) Ensure assets are built, maintained and operated as per set Safety standardsDisseminate information regarding these standards across all levels of the organization to ensure consistencyFacilitate the monitoring of all projects to ensure that these standards are met4) HSE Inspection activities :Analysis of site safety and communicate to the concerned groups for action and follow up for closureOversee Initial investigation of incidents, prepare report based on HSE guidelines5) Quality & Safety :Ensure employees and contractors are aware of their responsibilities for safe work and must comply with requirements at MGL HSE policy and procedures, code of practice and relevant legislationDevelop and engage contractors to build their capabilities for HSE Performance EnhancementReview of risk for different activities at the siteEnsure adherence to the strict norms of HSE and compliance of the team for the same6) People :Appraise Senior Management regularly with HSE performance of organisationEnsure HSE department is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirementsDevelop HSE communication plan for regular disseminating HSE awareness across organisation
