Job Description

    Role Responsibilities
    • The role of the selected candidate would be
    1. supporting the process , governance and projects for Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Lending and Medium Enterprises lending. The job requires the candidate to have the following skill sets:
    2. Required to churn out critical Management Information like monthly KPI, Volumes and billing file.
    3. Required to coordinate Journey Service Review meetings.
    4. Required to coordinate and help prioritize team backlogs.
    5. Required to conduct periodical trainings
    Skill sets required:
    • A good understanding of the Commercial Lending domain, coupled with working knowledge of payments, settlement, reconciliation, and financial / regulatory reporting protocols.
    • Good understanding of lending lifecycle events, covering bilateral as well as syndication lending.
    • Good understanding of data quality aspects.
    • Expert knowledge of MS office systems- word, excel and powerpoint. Specific to excel would be the ability to analyze data by using look up functions, pivot table, graphical analysis etc.
    • Ability to pick up the requisite knowledge in respect of the systems deployed internally within the team.

    • Business requirement and functional specification delivery for all project, BAU and strategic initiatives
    • Work directly with the Product Management role holders in the Business or Function on product design and solution options.

    • The ability to effectively work together with team colleagues across geographies.
    • Ability to seamlessly interact with senior stakeholders from operations, product, finance, tax, and business team.

    • Relevant Product Heads, Business COOs, Functional COOs, Business Managers and Product Controllers primarily Client Coverage and Financial Markets.
    • Maintain strong ties with the colleagues in Commercial Lending/Corporate Finance team to ensure a cross functional, collaborative working approach.

    Required qualifications:
    • Post Graduate (preferably a degree in commerce.
    • 7+ years of relevant experience within the Commercial Lending space.
    • Working experience on lending systems like ACBS/LoanIQ/Finacle will be added advantage.
    • Very good analytical skills including problem solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence directly, indirectly and virtually across the SCB network.
