Job Description

  • Due diligence in selection of service providers and outsourcing activities and outsourcing risk assessment Develop / review template for centralized outsourcing inventory Work with IT and BTG seniors to ensure that the central repository of all Outsourcing engagements is up to date and complete.
  • Identify opportunities for automating the above activity Review existing ITPP and introduce policies / processes to ensure that due diligence and approvals are in place for all new outsourcing arrangements as well as changes to existing arrangements Contract provisions (Legal terms are reviewed separately by a set of experts)
  • Develop checklists to ensure that commercial aspects of all contracts are reviewed before finalization including but not limited to the following: Check completeness of support, maintenance and service level agreement
  • Check whether Insurance coverage requirements are considered Methodology for arriving at Compensation variable charges, other charges, COLA etc.
  • Whether Regulatory implications of sharing data with vendors are considered Prepare and circulate MIS / exception reports to senior management Monitor compliance to regulatory requirements related to outsourcing Ongoing Controls assessment Conduct half yearly Supplier Risk Assessments as per extant policy and process Assess Operational and internal controls for offsite service providers.
  • Whether all staff working onsite are accounted for, any changes to staff are carried out after informing PM Whether skill sets / seniority of outsourced staff commissioned on site is as per agreed terms with the vendor.
  • System and Physical access given to vendors Outsourced staff checks Verify confirmation on Background checks for all on-site staff Disciplinary issues tracking Labour laws compliance Work with IT PMs to collate information about space occupied by vendors Verify whether Physical access to locations is being certified by PMs periodically License utilization Use available tools and techniques to reconcile utilization of licenses vis--vis periodic renewals (security, OS / DB) Endpoint license (functional MS office, LoNo etc.
  • as well as security AV, DLP, IEM etc) Assess whether application license usage being tracked and whether information used for renewals is complete and correct.
  • Assess whether AMC tool captures linkages of license usage with AMC and other payments Reconciliation of usage vis--vis license procurement agreement terms.
