Job Description

  • To ensure efficient and proactive processing of spares inquiries/offers/orders in good co-operation
  • with Global Product Support Centres (GPSC) at all times to fulfil internal / external customer and
  • business requirements.
  • Frequent contacts with customers side to understand their needs and build up trust and
  • feeling of partnership
  • Ensure the customers enquiry contains sufficient information to allow the GPSC to quote
  • correctly
  • Entry of enquiries into SAP and forwarding to GPSC in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay in regular contact with customer to keep them advised of status of the enquiry.
  • Immediate forwarding of quotations to the customer once available and after reviewing
  • price and accuracy.
  • Follow up quotations in a timely manner and record all conversations with the customer
  • Immediately forward orders to GPSC and ensure prompt order confirmation to customers
  • Follow-up on open questions on quotes and orders and transfer important information to
  • GPSC/Sales
  • CLOSE THE ORDER (or trace reasons for not getting an order and inform GPSC about
  • them)
  • If problems, inform the customer immediately and find alternative solutions
  • Inform the customer about the delivery details (flight/trucking details, exact delivery places)
  • and proactively seek consigning information.
