Job Description

Hiring Production Support LeadExperience: 7-8+ yearsCTC : 14-15 LPALocation: MumbaiLocation Boundary : Churchgate to Borivali / CST to Dombivli / Kurla to CSTResponsibilities:

  • Providing leadership and guidance for the Production Support team members and guaranteeing seamless support to the application users across multiple geographic regions.
  • Lead governance meetings with the business sponsors to develop a plan for continuous service improvement.
  • Project manage (coordinate, plan and execute) the service transition activities for all strategic, roadmap projects.
  • Prioritizing production incidents, requests and problems as needed, to maximize the output of the Production Support team.
  • Identifying long-term trends, prioritize RCA queues and working with product management to prioritize development effort for periodic releases.
  • Providing up-to-date statuses to all stakeholders including senior management on incidents and requestsacross all applications.
  • Lead the coordination with the Help Desk to establish best practices and improve performance of incidenthandling.
  • Develop business opportunities with the current users and build on relationship management.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing and effective communication with the business.
  • Reviewing Root Cause Analysis documents and sharing them with the BA and Development teams.
  • Working with the Technology Training Group as needed to train end-users for offices worldwide, includingthe creation and update of training materials.
  • Look to implement Follow-The-Sun support model
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of solid, diverse work experience in IT including experience in Technology Operations / Infrastructure
  • At least 5-7 years relevant work experience in a comparable, IT support related role in the financial industry.
  • Leadership experience in the management of onshore and offshore teams is required
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certification would be a plus
