Job Description

    Function -Design - HVACReports toManagerJob Objective:-Sound knowledge of designing HVAC & BMS systems.Principal Accountabilities:-Get the file transfer from the sales department with all the necessary details of the customer and make the files of the project.Study of complete BOQ/P.O./Scope of work & site visit with the draughtsman to take the necessary details of the site to do the further Design & planning.Decide & implement the pressure /AHU/Area zoning of the systems according to the process involved in the project and submit it to the client/consultant for approval.Heat load calculations, CFM distribution along with IN/EX Filtration, Psychrometric chart plot, and cooling/Heating coil selection.Prepare Room data sheet and Basis of design and submit the same to the client/Consultant for approval.Give the required details to the draughtsman to make the Zoning, Cutout, ducting, Airflow, Equipment location, piping routing & electrical drawings, and cross-checking of the same and get the approval on the same from the client/consultant.Follow up with the client/consultant for the earliest approval of drawings.Coordination with modular, electrical, utility dept.Make/get the GA drawings of AHU, electrical panel, HEPA box, Return air riser, CHW/HOT water/Steam/Refrigerant manifold piping drg.Give the approval on AHU, electrical panel GA drg to the vendors.Make the detailed checklist as per the final approved drawing for giving it to the Purchase department.Make and submit the purchase indent to the purchase dept. as per the checklist in the ERP system.Help the Purchase department to negotiate with the vendor for ordering the major equipment.Prepare BOQ comparison sheet and submit it to the client/Marketing team, Compare the quantities of purchase order BOQ & Checklist BOQ to take necessary amendments (if required).Prepare & send the DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ with all necessary approved drawings.Hand over the 2sets of BOQ, PO, Checklist, final approved drawing and design details to the project execution team/Site engineer.Make a weekly plan, attend daily fab assure meetings,s and update the work status in the fab assure system.Education:-BE/ BTECH FROM MECHANICAL DEPTTargeted Industry - Any HVAC design industryExperience6 to 8 yearsKnowledge and skill set:-MS office, Autocad, and knowledge of Rivet Software is an additional advantages.
