Job Description

    *Role Responsibilities This role in Client Coverage Technology is within CEE Hive for the position of Release Manager.
    • Manage, coordinate, and oversee the various release phases as mandated by Bank s System Delivery Framework.
    • Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments.
    • Extensive experience in preparation of release calendar and plan, create a change request, System Delivery Framework controls includes collecting all evidence to get final review and change request approvals, etc.
    • Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
    • Foster strong working and collaborative relationships with the business and technology stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate to stakeholders the release status, highlight risks, and propose issue resolution.
    • Be an integral part of an Agile engineering team and work collaboratively with fellow engineers and product owners.
    • Responsible to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments, with an emphasis on process automation.
    • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
    • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go / No-Go reviews as well as Post Implementation retrospectives.
    • Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
    • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.
    • Responsible to make sure the availability of development and test environment for the release.
    • Able to handle any adhoc release with business stakeholders and development team collaboratively.
    • Develop and oversee Release Management processes and develop best practices.
    • Work with cross function teams to get alignment and processes set up and implemented for releases.
    • Establish and oversee checkpoints in release management framework to keep releases in green and work across squads to mitigate release risks and keep releases compliant.

    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Preferable B TECH or BE or MBA grade in Computer Science / Information Systems or related IT Area.
    • 8+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
    • Good experience in feature based agile release management, industry standard Java/J2EE application & AI/ML Platforms.
    • Good development/scripting review skills - includes implementation steps, shell/ ansible / etc DB scripts, Control-M setup.
    • Quick learner to SCB internal tools and process, understand and collaborate with internal various groups to mitigate risk.
    • Good to have knowledge in Core Java, DB and Python.
    • Good experience in DevOps tool sets like Jenkins, Rundeck, Ansible, Docker.
    • Good understanding of version control systems like GIT.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to details.
    • Agile Scrum Master certification preferred.
    • Good knowledge of release management process and tools, remedy management.
    • Well-versed with Agile methodology and global delivery model.
    • Excellent communication skills.
