Job Description

Job TitleIntegration & Automation EngineerLocation(s)MumbaiResponsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop and implement integration solutions between systems such as Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, MDM, Siebel, Data-warehouse and other applications.
  • Take ownership of integration development process from requirements gathering to full implementation
  • Own day-to-day administration and provide support to global servicemax project
  • Work with business users, stakeholders, product manager, sales/service team and external system vendors/suppliers to build and maintain current and new integrations
  • Analyse business problems, develop both long-term and quick tactical solutions
  • Provide technical documentations for new and existing integrations
  • Identify production issues and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions
  • Help convert legacy integrations to our iPaaS platform and methodology
  • Help migrate from On-Prem atom to AWS molecule environment
  • Perform server maintenance as needed
  • Identify pain points of the process and improve existing processes
Person Specification:
  • 3-5 years of strong experience in an enterprise integration role working with cloud and on-premise integrations
  • Hands-on experience with at least one iPaaS platforms such as Dell Boomi, WebMethods, Informatica, IBM Cast Iron/AppConnect, Snaplogic, Tibco, Mulesoft etc.
  • Preferred to have prior experience integrating with Salesforce/NetSuite/SAP
  • Deep understanding of data models and integration technologies like SOAP, REST, (S)FTP, HTTP(S), SMTP, RFC, BAPI, JDBC, JSON, XML and FlatFile
  • Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Groovy, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS strongly preferred
  • Understanding of different types of integration patterns, integration best practices, networking, API management and exception handling
  • Good to have Boomi certifications
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude and able to work independently with no supervision
  • Eager to quickly learn
  • Can-do attitude.
Qualifications
  • BS/BE degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of business automation and integration technology
  • Customer/Business centric mindset
  • Understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP)
Languages required
  • Fluent English, though native language skills are not required;
Success Measures
  • In 3 months you ll have a deep understanding of the current architecture and able to independently support the business requirements
  • In 6 months you ll be able to deliver integration process from scratch
  • In 12 months you ll have expertise with multiple domains of PerkinElmer integrations
