Job Description

    Job Role: We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join us as an Interior Design at Avas Wellness, to work on Luxury Villas. Role and Responsibilities:
    • Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability
    • The candidate should have an understanding of architectural and interior drawings, and should be able to prepare interior GFC drawings for the site.
    • Compiling the drawings of all consultants to make a Coordinated Set of GFC drawings
    • Should have innovative design details and should be able to give design solutions of look and feel shared with clients.
    • Should be able to come with innovative design decisions which are cost effective.
    • Should have a knowledge of different materials and its costing
    • Should be able to help the procurement team with all the quantifications and list of materials required for the purpose of design
    • Help in checking the Detail/ Shop drawings for the construction purpose.
    • Should be perceptive about the design deliverable needed on site and keep track and follow up for the same
    • Should have a good knowledge of the site and should be able to make site decisions.
    • Visiting job sites to analyse space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space
    • Would be required to make site visits often, and occasional visits to the vendors for material selections.
    • All of the above need to be done in a timely manner.
    • Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
    Required Competencies:
    • Excellent skills in AutoCAD and a good understanding of MS Office (Word/ Excel/ Ppt)
    • Good communication skills.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating documentation and design skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Can supervise other team members
    • Strong interior design skill and strong space planning abilities.
    • Degree qualified, interior Architecture, Interior design
    • 8 + years industry experience
    Required Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of experience in any interior, architectural or construction company.Successful completion of a professional course of Interior Design
