Job Description

This position has recently fallen vacant. role. If you are interested in working both strategically and tactically in the Logistics & Distribution (L&D) function and can we replace with something that s more suitable here, this would make you an ideal fit for the role. You, together with your colleagues, which make up a team of 5, will contribute to On-Time Delivery which will be one of the important Core Value Driver for Beckman. You can look forward to having a fair amount of independence in delivering in your profile, while engaging with various stakeholders in the business.

  • Leading Demand planning & forecasting process for reagents, service parts & hardware
  • Driving stock availability with minimum stockout to achieve >95% OTD
  • Working with sales & marketing to understand trend (increasing / decreasing) & take action to replenish inventory accordingly
  • Working with service tech specialist to understand the trend in service parts demand & plan the inventory
  • Leading weekly review (demand vs stock availability) to identify potential shortage / risk to revenue & take action by escalating to supply chain head & global planners
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory management parameters in Oracle & ensuring weekly replenishment orders are placed with source warehouse
  • Responsible to set-up replenishment dating / customer dating in Oracle
  • Responsible to manage low supply inventory
  • Working closely with global planner & ensuring orders get replenished as per required qty
  • Diving overall inventory to ensure inventory level remain within forecast & & inventory turn goal is met
  • Leading IMAG (inventory management at Gemba) process & take actions so that inventory levels remain within forecast
  • Working with CSA, Marketing & Sales to drive SLOB (slow moving, obsolete stock) to liquidation
  • Ensuring minimum scrap (within forecast)
  • Working with local regulatory team to ensure replenishment of inventory as per local regulatory compliance requirement
  • Work with Quality Assurance team for quality stop ship related issue & take action
  • Driving improvements in planning process to take the planning to new level
  • Supporting Sales & operation planning (S&OP) process for business
