Position Objective:To manage videos, photos, and notes from cruelty investigations; help compile them in a format required for sharing them with the public or submitting them to authorities or a court; conduct research required to help facilitate successful investigations; and assist investigations in other ways.Term of Employment:Full-timeReports To:Lead InvestigatorLocation:MumbaiPrimary Responsibilities and Duties:Coordinate with investigators to collect audio-visual evidence, including photographs and videos.Check, sort, select, and compile photographs from investigations.Organise photos in files and folders for archiving and create backups, as per standard operating procedures.Watch video footage from investigations.Sort, select, compile, and create log notes about the footage.Organise the notes in files for archiving and create backups, as per standard operating procedures.Check, sort, select, and compile audio evidence.Create log notes about the audio evidence, organise them in respective files for archiving, and create backups, as per standard operating procedures.Maintain a master inventory file to record the investigation file names and codes for easy reference.Ensure the safekeeping of original data on storage devices used during field investigations, as per standard operating procedures.Conduct desk research to assist field investigators, as required.Manage and monitor investigation equipment and ensure its safekeeping.Submit intra-organisational forms related to the use of photographs and footage.Assist field investigators in the preparation of investigation reports.Coordinate and work with various departments to finalise and publicise investigation materials, as required, including the Audio-Visual, Media, Online Marketing, and Legal departments.Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:Degree in a related field preferredRelevant experienceFamiliarity with video, audio, and photo equipmentExceptional research skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to deal professionally with othersAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work under tight deadlines in a professional mannerAbility to maintain strict confidentiality at all timesCommitment to the objectives of the organisationHow to Apply: To apply for a position with PETA India, please complete this form.,
