Job Description

    IIOT Support Engineer
    • Experience in remotely monitoring and supporting IOT Devices (preferably Industrial / Edge)
    • Experience in IOT IMAC (Install, Move, Add or Change) tasks
    • Fundamental knowledge of technologies routinely found in IOT environments (i.e. MQTT, TCP/IP, Sensors etc.)
    • Good understanding of Unix / Linux Operating Systems. Experience in IOT OS will be an advantage.
    • Experience in Docker Container deployment and maintenance.
    • Experience of Incident & Problem Management tasks in an IIOT support environment, preferably in a manufacturing vertical
    • Hands-on experience in day to day functions which include server build, health checks, action alerts, resolution of infrastructure capacity issues, logging calls with principal OEM/ISVs etc.
    • Willingness to work in shifts if and when required.
    Candidate Profile:Bachelors or Vocational degree in Engineering (IT/Telecom/Electronics/Instrumentation) or M.Sc(IT/CS/Electronics/Instrumentation)Good understanding of ITIL processes and toolsGood Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with people in a multi-cultural corporationFollow documentation, verbal instructions and be capable of preparing and implementing change controlsLanguages: Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English. Foreign language (like French) will be an advantage
