Knowledge And Skills:Candidates with service delivery experiences, mostly with IT infrastructure servicesCandidate should have preferably some knowledges about server/system management (Windows, Unix, Virtualization), backup (Commvault, Netbackup), storage (EMC, DELL, HP, IBM), database (Oracle, SQL), infrastructure monitoring (BPPM, HPOV), network (LAN/WAN/MAN/ Wireless), security ( Firewall, IDS/IPS, security monitoring, VA, log analysis, certificate management, patching, Anti Virus, Antispam), middleware (Tibco, Informatica, JBOSS, .Net, Web logic, Web sphere, Citrix, Sharepoint, documentum etc), batch scheduling/processing (CTRLM, VTOM), Public cloud (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, RDS, SaaS) support operationsMust know the ITIL fundation processes and mostly incident management, service request management, change/release management, problem management, crisis/major incident management, capacity management, configuration management, service level management and availability management processesUnderstanding of outsourcing contracts, service level agreements, MSA, key performance indicators, scope of work, RACIPublic cloud operations/service delivery experiences could be an added-valueShould preferably have experiences in management of external contractors, large virtual team spread in multi locations globally fully using English languageShould have a good understanding of server/system management tools & Monitoring capabilities as well automation and orchestration knowledge (POD, RESOLVE, Scripting, automation)Experiences in coordinating business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, technical service owners , auditors, hardware/software/services vendors, users and service providersExperiences in working closely with business units to fix issues, handle major incidents, to drive projects for quick implementation, to address and resolve problems/issues raised by business unitsShould be well versed with service improvement, service excellence , managing quality /compliance/security and standardsFormal Education And Experience Required:A minimum of an Associate s Degree with 7 years of professional IT experience is required, or a Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience is required.A good understanding of compute and storage technologies is required.Expertise in IT infrastructure service delivery / infrastructure operations is needed.Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of current compute architectures, platforms and solutions and how they support business deliverables is required in addition to a basic understanding of application development principles and methodologies, and network infrastructure, as they correlate to platforms.This position requires the ability to communicate to a wide array of audiences ranging from the CIO, business leaders, program managers, engineers and technical partners.This position may require up to 5% overall business travel (domestic and international).,
