6+ years of hands-on full development lifecycle experience from inception through implementation.Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments.Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications, identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues, and review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation.Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale applications in a mission-critical production environment.Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goalsProficient in the following:1) Core Java language development2) J2EE development including application servers like Tomcat / Weblogic and corresponding web server, IDEs like Eclipse, server-side application development3) Development frameworks like Spring and ORM concepts with specific work on Hibernate or iBatis4) Database programming using SQL on Oracle 9i / Oracle 10g5) XML & Web Services6) Build tools like ANT / MAVEN and Experience with source control tools like SVN / CVS/ PVCS7) Systems Analysis - Ability to read and comprehend business and functional requirements to develop detailed design documents.8) UML for design documentation like class and sequence diagrams9) Implementing code quality tools like SONAR, Checkstyle, PMD etc.10) Unit Testing FrameworkAny of the following will be an added advantage:1) Prior exposure to Agile development lifecycle will be a big advantage2) Sun Certification (SCJP, SCJD) will be an advantage3) Mule ESB is preferable4) Experience on Linux environmento Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplineo Good communication and people skillso English speaking and writing skills,
