You will join the client allocation team in Mumbai developing best of breed allocation services for Morgan Stanley. This is a rare opportunity to work on large scale, highly optimized and mission critical systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in server side Java development, excellent communication skills and be motivated to work in a fast paced environment where time to market is often paramount. You would be interacting with our global partners in the Trading and Operations divisions as well as partner Technology teams to understand requirements and own all aspects of the SDLC. Our systems sit at the heart of the firm s processing plant and benefit from a unique vantage point for appreciating the full trade lifecycle and broad business exposure. They form a key component of the Equity Trading Systems (ETS) product suite that support the sales and trading activities of the Institutional Equity Division (IED) and process over 10 million messages per day. Around 600 users including sales staff on trading desks, the Client Support Group (CSG), and external clients via the Passport Windows trading platform and Transcap Prime Broker desktop leverage the client allocation services we build. We process flow for over 20 sales and execution systems and over 50 trading desks worldwide (Listed Derivatives, Cash, Programs, Equity Swaps, IPO, and Corporate Coverage)., * Skills 4-6 years of Relevant Experience working on core java and related technology.Primary requirement is to be proficient java developer.Strong Core Java fundamentals. Strong Communication and Problem Solving Skills. Basics of Databases & SQL queries. Good to have knowledge scripting language like Perl & experience of Linux/Unix.
