Most importantly we are looking for someone who is technically excellent and can aspire, and inspire others, to our values and culture.This role requires: good functional knowledge of North America Trade life cycle & working experience in Brokerage Back Office, Settlement and Clearing processes good knowledge of various exchange traded products like equities, treasuries, convertible bonds, listed options etc. strong documentation skills to write business specification & functional requirement documents good understanding of SDLC & agile methodology solid understanding in DB SQLs and data analysis skills. good knowledge on various message formats (XML / FIXML / SWIFT / FPML) good communication and collaboration skills, analytical thinking and ability to multi task. experience of working on DTCC and BONY/FED functions and Broadridges BPS/ICI systems.Your teamIn your current role you will be working: across a suite of applications or complex sub-components with a large number of developers actively contributing the code base with significant functional complexity in the scope with large scale external integration (multiple inbound and outbound feeds) with high volume and high availability requirements with change management effectively and efficiently with various business groups depending on the nature of the project, Your expertise: a university bachelor s degree, typically in computer science, management information systems or equivalent professional certifications 10+ years of IT software development experience (preferably in the Financial Services / Banking domain) must have experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, REST APIs, Kafka understand TDD (test driven development) and BDD (behavior driven development) and know to utilize test framework / tools such as Junit / JBehave / Selenium understand continuous integration and continuous deployment. Working experience on various CI/CD tools, such as Git, Team city, Maven, Gradle & Jenkins is required understanding of relational (Oracle, SQL Server) DBs driver of agile methodology and mindset ability to produce secure, stable and good performing code experience in SWIFT protocol, AZURE cloud, micro services would be an advantage*#LI-SS1
