Job Description

    Design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. Engage directly with IT management, development teams (onshore and offshore), technical delivery teams, to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities & Contributing ResponsibilitiesContribute with other developers to technical analysis, design, development and automated unit and acceptance testing and post release activities Perform code and design reviews Work with business analysts to turn user stories into working and tested system increments Contribute to iteration planning, by providing high and low level estimates Maintain consistency and quality of the code, and shared understanding of the system Contribute to the development of the system and the process at retrospectives. Participate in the agile based project software life-cycle Work on tasks assigned independently and produce best fit deliverables Efficient communication with all stake holders 3rd line production Support Quick learner and help in training any new joiner to scale them up to a level, to be productive. Contribute to continuous improvement and DevOps initiatives Competencies Technical CompetencySolid commercial experience of development with Java - J2EE Object Oriented Design Hibernate Spring RESTFul Web services Working with messaging queues RDBMS, ideally Oracle Angular 10 A previous experience of working with databases and writing SQL Unit and acceptance testing - JUnit & Mockito Behavioral CompetencyDemonstrate the ability to show initiative and take the lead solving business focused technical problems. Have a can do attitude that focuses on resolving the overall problem in the medium and long term as well as meeting the short-term objectives. Have and demonstrate integrity in all work. Willingness and ability to put in effort even when not explicitly requested to do so.
