Job Description

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals by implementing sales strategy to promote equipments like centrifuges, flow cytometer, particle characterization, Bioreactors etc. and consumables in Biopharma accounts in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.
  • Creates, maintains and manages funnel
  • Develops expertise in product area as assigned and deliver product presentations and demos to customer
  • Manages key accounts as single point of contact
  • Handles key account issues from all perspectives of sales, application and service support.
  • Works effectively in a team environment and influences peers and others to deliver on customer requirements
  • Effectively execute business plans and strategy in the field
  • Follows regular cadence of processes as applicable and maintain rigor in reporting
  • Captures VOC and identifies local market trends and communicates internally
  • Maintain and manage distributor relationships as needed
  • Understand Key account workflow and communicate to customer with value proposition
  • Engage with customer to build and maintain relationship.
  • Understand the customer buying process and manage end to end sales cycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • MSc/MTech/ in Biological sciences /Chem engg/Biotechnology
  • 7-10 years work experience in sales /applications at Life sciences vendor companies
  • Experience in Pharma/Biopharma sales of equipment and/or consumables
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with cell culture products or cell biology products preferred
