Always Simple.Training and Awareness The Training and Awareness (T&A) team is responsible for fostering a data-ready, security-aware and resilient culture that protects the Bank and our clients. It does this through creating risk-based, targeted T&A for ICS, Data and Privacy, Resilience and 3 rd Party Risk, to drive behavior change amongst employees, executives, third parties and customers. It drives the design, development, deployment and enablement of delivery via virtual, instructor-led, and digital campaigns, enabled by global awareness communities of practice, based on employees roles and risk types. The team s remit spans general employee awareness, role-based training, executive engagement, phishing awareness and simulation exercises, field enablement, communications, assessing and remediating behaviour change, and T&A risk reporting, operations and strategy, as well as TDR Academies and Outreach.Role descriptionThis is an exciting new permanent role requiring extensive communications experience. The successful candidate will be accountable for designing and implementing a communications strategy that supports the deployment of all TDR training and awareness across the Bank s footprint, as well as telling our story to internal and external stakeholders (i.e. clients, partners, vendors, potential employees) They will drive internal and external reach and engagement through compelling comms and thought leadership that cuts through the noise and helps drive visibility and engagement of the TDR T&A programme Bank-wide, and to external audiences as required. We are super proud of all we do in the T&A team. We want to be much more vocal in publicising what we do to support the Bank s Big Stands and broader strategy of Driving Profit with PurposeResponsibilities

  • Design and implement an effective communications and engagement strategy for T&A to promote the team s vision and achievements, including Outreach and Academies
  • Design and lead a communications roadmap and framework for T&A, working with internal, external and cross-functional team members to ensure appropriate channels of delivery
  • Define and engage the right audiences for TDR T&A programmes utilizing a variety of communications vehicles and platforms
  • Manage and implement a communications and editorial calendar, co-owned with the T&A Management Team and collaboration partners.
  • Accountable for designing and delivering a dedicated comms plan for TDR Outreach programme, promoting community, partnership, education and talent pipeline projects internally, externally and with community partners
  • Institute a messaging framework and communications processes with the T&A Management Team. Provide resources and best practices
  • Create thought leadership pieces internally and externally around ICS, D&P and Resilience Training and awareness, Skills Academies and TDR Global Outreach programme. Manage internal and external speaking opportunities to promote the T&A book of work. Design and lead TDR T&A social media presence.
  • Collaborate and align with TDR Communications, and Group Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing, and communications deployment partners, to amplify the T&A team s efforts and drive visibility of the T&A programmes across the TDR organization, the Bank and externally, leveraging channels/reach and cross-pollination of content
  • Define, measure and report on the efficacy of communications through analytics and closed loop and audience feedback
  • Collaborate with T&A Operations and Reporting lead to ensure T&A stakeholders are regularly communicated to and updated on T&A programme and business impact
  • Work with the T&A Digital/Delivery Lead to ensure that content on the team s flagship pages on the Bank s intranet are kept up to date and messaging aligned to the team s principles. Ensure all T&A related external social media channels are maintained and populated on a regular basis. .
  • Manage all external T&A promotion on social media and other channels as required
  • Collaborate with team members, Bank partners and vendors on campaign planning to ensure clear messaging and impactful comms are embedded into the client journey
  • Design T&A team employee engagement initiatives eg: socials, townhalls, guest speakers, surveys partnering with Head of T&A Operations and Reporting as required
  • Provide communications direction and support to the T&A team to ensure that content in on-brand and on-message, in line with the Bank s brand guidelines and tone of voice. This will include reviewing drafts of communications for key programmes, shaping internal communications, and advising on relevant communications channels
  • Prepare reactive (non-incident) cyber event communications due to emerging threats, identified risks or vulnerabilities in collaboration with T&A and other ICS teams
  • Establish proactive communications to support the Global Head of Training & Awareness with regular updates to key TDR T&A key stakeholders and the TDR organisation in order to amplify the team s achievements, upcoming programmes, latest updates etc
  • Establish strong relationships with identified communication stakeholders across the functions and markets to embed TDR T&A messaging in their communication materials

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Communications, Marketing or other related discipline. An extended number of years and excellent track record working in Communications, Awareness, Engagement, Brand, or Marketing may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 10 years experience in Corporate Affairs / Corporate Communications / Marketing Communications / Awareness and Engagement roles
  • Experience in creative storytelling vs presenting the facts . Demonstrate you can cut through the noise with thought provoking communications that encourages people to read and engage
  • Understanding and practical application of editorial design principles (headlines, etc). proof reading, sub-editing
  • Experience working in various aspects of communications in a global organisation
  • Understanding of IT and cyber security business processes, risks, threats and internal controls
  • Experience working in or with the financial services industry, or an ICS policy organisation in another industry, with keen understanding of business and operational environments preferred
  • Strong ability to liaise with all parts of the Bank, including senior security, risk, communications and business stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in developing content and communications desirable
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation, are critical for this position
