Job Description

Lead Consultant Ledger Business AnalystFunction: OperationsMumbai , IndiaInviting applications for the role of Lead Consultan t Ledger BAIn this role you will be able to adapt in ever-evolving Regulatory change space, has ability to learn quickly and create high quality deliverables in a timely manner and demonstrate strong collaboration through excellent verbal as well as written business communications.Responsibilities!

  • To work across different components of Ledger like Trading/General ledger, Journal rule engine, Static requirements, Reporting, Reconciliation etc.
  • Required to understand Front Office to Back Office system architecture, data flow and feed requirements for Ledger posting. Strong domain on lifecycle of Equity, Fixed Income, FX and OTC products.
  • The BA will work mainly with India BA team and will be required to liaise with relevant User Group i.e. Product Control/Finance Control and will also need to co-ordinate with Finance IT dedicated to this project.
Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum qualifications
  • BE/B Tech/ MCA
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in documenting business requirements ( BRD), reviewing and/or preparing functional specifications
  • Assessment and tracking of risks and issues, logging and follow-up of actions, and tracking progress against a plan
  • Work closely with Finance Technology, ensuring detailed understanding and delivery of requirements, as well as prioritization of any issues encountered
  • Attend frequent meetings with the Project Team, Technology, SMEs and stakeholders, as well as act as a key liaison with local Technology resource
  • Essential to have experience working in an Investment Bank, with knowledge of the standard products Products (Equity, Bond, OTC Derivatives).
  • Prior experience in Ledger Implementation projects would be preferred.
