Job Description

Lead Developer (Python/Go)Job Locations IN-MumbaiRequisition ID 2020-56100 Category Research & Development Whats the role A Lead Engineer within Urban Mobility team is responsible for leading engineering and operationalizing the processing, quality assessment, and publishing of externally sourced transit data from around the world. You specialize in all data requirements and formats to support the expansion and quality improvements of transit content and services, central to the HERE Urban Mobility offers. Additionally, you will:

  • Write clean, fast code to implement new features
  • Learn and play with the code that is about to change and think how to improve it
  • Make sure the existing code that is about to change has enough test coverage
  • Do a code review or respond to yours.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams across the company.
Who are you You are a self-motivated, creative and proactive individual with strong understanding of the software development processes and methodologies. In addition you should have:
  • Bachelor or Masters In Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree
  • Technical expertise with 7+ years of proven track record
  • Strong competence in Python/Go, willingness to learn Python and Go
  • Intimate knowledge of algorithms and common data structures or architectural skills
  • OOP principles and common software patterns as well as conscious aplication of those
  • Experience in devops area, e.g. AWS, k8s, docker, vagrant
