Lead DevOps EngineerJob Locations IN-MumbaiRequisition ID 2021-57600 Category Research & Development Whats the role HERE is seeking a Principal System Engineer with architecture & programming experience for DevOps Engineering team. The Principal Systems Engineer is accountable for architecting, designing and responsible for deploying and supporting the end-to-end infrastructure architecture / solution architecture for one or more HERE Service, including providing T3 support (specialized support) for the managed services and participation in on-call rotation.Our Systems Engineers work on solving complex infrastructure problems, develop automation to fix issues with least possible human intervention (self-healing cloud centric infrastructure designs), and contribute to common HERE automation platforms. Everything from CDNs, Network Design, Computer Virtualization, Operating Systems, Storage, Security, Computer Architecture, Product Architecture etc. are pulled together to develop low maintenance, 0-downtime Solution Architecture, covering operability, monitoring and management.This Role works with Product Teams (R&D, Architects, Software Engineers, Product Managers) and Project Managers in a cross functional team environment. Focus on the infrastructure and operational elements of designing & deploying a service; examples include but not limited to: ensuring services are highly available, have robust infrastructure capacity in place and are fully resilient across multiple data centers and in Public/Private Cloud. Automate as much as possible to eliminate human errors. Work closely with key stakeholders, including Product Development Team, PMO, HERE IT, Technology Strategy Architecture teams and Service Operations teams, in ensuring the technologies adhere to 99.9% or higher uptime.Day to Day
