Job Description

Wolters Kluwer India Pvt Ltd (Pune) have a need for a Lead Scrum Master for our Pune Global In-house center (GIC).Broad expectations from this role are as follows:As a Lead Scrum Master you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of processes related to best practices of Agile methodology.Utilize communication, interpersonal, technical and organizational skills to remove obstacles, enhance collaboration, and ensure teams can deliver results.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and organize daily stand-up meetings, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other activities as needed
  • Prevent or remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the ability of the development team to deliver on their goals
  • Work with Product Owner and Business Analyst to groom and prioritize backlog for upcoming releases and iterations.
  • Aid delivery team with determining suitable commitments for user stories, defects, and tasking
  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress
  • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices
  • Managing Risks and tracking to closure
  • Assist as needed with backlog maintenance
Experience
  • Total of 8 to 12 years of industry experience with Development background
  • 4-5 years of experience in the software industry as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • SAFe Experience is required
  • Preferred First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I) Experience
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using tools such as Rally, ADO , JIRA to manage Scrum activities.
