Job Description

    India Health Fund was established by Tata Trusts and the Global Fund with the aim of creating a pooled mechanism for health financing which would enable the development and scaling of technology-led solutions, enabled by innovative business models, partnerships and financing mechanisms.The role of Lead - Strategy & Partnerships at India Health Fund is fundamental to helping achieve this purpose. The role requires an entrepreneurial individual who is willing and able to conceptualise possible partnerships, develop strategy and outreach and manage relationships.Responsibilities : a) Conceptualise and develop partnerships in areas relevant to India Health Fundb) Build alliances and enable end-to-end engagement with strategic partners (non-profit, government or for-profit in India and abroad) and capability vendors to achieve the goals of this vertical within the organisationc) Accountable for end-to-end implementation of the intervention, ensuring coherence between all stakeholders for timely delivery of goals and achieving the impact outcomesd) Identify areas of cross-functional alignment relevant to partnerships & fundraisinge) Lead identified organizational initiativesf) Responsible for the development and oversight of all external partnership for IHFs initiativesg) Develop and implement an external relations strategy, responsible for creating a network with other corporate foundations and government programs for joint implementation where there is a geographic and strategic synergy in implementation approaches. The strategy will also include public relations and create greater visibility to IHF initiatives.h) Engage with sector experts on an ongoing basis, maintaining and building a direct relationship with themi) Build relationships and keep abreast of new and current trends within the health and social impact space, approaches to enable scalable impactj) Identify and introduce best practices within the team and organization to enable continuous learning & improvementk) Develop systems, processes, and ways of working for strategy & partnerships team, and cross-functional teamsl) Represent IHF with external stakeholders, organizationsm) Mentor and lead the team to execute strategy and operational plans Skills : a) Blue sky thinking - translation to tangible opportunities, strategies, initiatives - short, medium & long termb) Start-up mindset, having the ability to drive a project from design to pilot phase to rapid scalec) Stakeholder management skills and ability to build consensus and relationships amongst the stakeholdersd) Ability to build partnershipse) Strong and effective communications skillsf) Integrative & enabling leadershipg) Ability to identify and integrate best practices from outside the organization for continuous improvement Experience a) Track record in leading annual fundraising in an impact investment fund, social sector or grant organization OR in a for-profit social enterpriseb) Experience in leading a strategy, fundraising, or partnerships team at an impact investment fund, social sector, or grant organizationc) >10 years work experienced) >5 years experience in leading teams of 2 or more peoplee) Established relationships with stakeholders relevant to the rolef) Experience in healthcare and/or public health,
