Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone JOB TITLE: LEAD WELL COMPLETION ENGINEERKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Completions Engineer will be responsible for carrying out assigned work with particular emphasis on HSEQ performance and cost-effective delivery. Accountable for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken. Ensure that well design and construction procedures comply with Petrofac Well Engineering, Client and the relevant legislative requirements. Liaise with the Production and Subsurface teams and service companies to ensure that objectives for well construction, well intervention and/or well repair are set and fully detailed in the procedures for each well. Responsible for composition of all programs and programme amendments for the construction, re-entry, repair of a well Support the project team in submission for and the implementation of and adherence to Petrofac Well Engineering and clients project specific HSEQ and legislative requirements. Carry our completion design work from conceptual through to detailed design work as well as preparation of detaile well completion programme. Carry out market screening, technology assessment and feasibility studies for various completion equipment (upper/lower and sandface) Determine the specification and manage the procurement of equipment and services such as, completion tubular, sand control systems, completion components, cased hole clean up, well testing, data acquisition, well intervention design work. In line with Client and Petrofac Well Engineering guidelines including the generation of Call off s. Where required complete modelling and design work to develop a fit for purpose completion design in line with applicable standards. Liaison and communications with rig and service contractors in planning and operations processes. Day to day office based well operations support. Support preparation of statutory notifications to government and other parties. Support preparation of cost estimates and AFE s for planning and well construction/intervention/repair in line with Petrofac Well Engineerings policies and client requirements. Liaison with all other required disciplines, such as facilities and drilling as project requires. Participate in the inputting and tracking of all project actions and key legislation in Turus Participate in the inputting and close out of all lessons in Turus Complete relevant risk reviews and document same as required by the project utilising Turus Participate in project meetings and weekly reporting requirements. Manage all completion engineering aspects of the end of well reporting by all relevant service companies and Petrofac Well Engineering.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Formal engineering qualification preferred. Offshore and onshore experience in a well engineering discipline. Extensive prior experience of working for an E&P Operator Valid IWCF certification or equivalent Knowledge and understanding on completion simulation software: Wellcat, Prosper etc. Extensive sand control including screens, openhole and cased hole gravel pack experience in design and operations. Able to perform tubing stress analysis. Able to perform well control and hydrostatic calculations. Can calculate forces and tensions associated with interventions and completion operations. Understands metallurgy and elastomer selection processes. Competent knowledge of equipment available to achieve complex challenges.,
