The LDS II designs and develops learning solutions to address business needs including new hire and initiative training. Duties include:ImplementationPartners with the LDS III/IV to communicate training content changes to the delivery team including conducting train the trainer sessions, as neededEvaluationReviews and addresses learner feedback, revises content as neededProject ManagementPartners with LDS III/IV to create training project planAdheres to project timelinesHolds SMEs and others accountable for content delivery, review and approval deadlines, escalates appropriatelyRegularly communicates project status to manager, LDS III/IV and other interested partiesManages multiple, complex large projects simultaneously through the project lifecycleUses appropriate tools, templates and processes as required by team proceduresChange Management and MaintenanceWork closely with the LDS III/IV to maintain and modify existing training programsStays up-to-date with business changesUpdates training content, as needed, in a timely manner to reflect business changesAppropriately follows team procedures to document material review, maintenance and recertificationIdentifies and implements changes to existing content that reduce future content maintenance needsEffective PartnershipDisplays customer obsession by building strong relationships with client, SMEs, and project teamDevelop solid working knowledge of LOB job roles, environment, goals, culture, key players, policies/procedures, etc.Consults with trainers on effective use of the training materials and facilitation processPartners with training colleagues to ensure training messaging is consistent and to identify efficiencies (e.g. content that can be leveraged)Other Key Responsibilities IncludeMakes recommendations to continuously improve internal processes, standards, and training solutionsMonitors and observes employees performing their jobs to effectively design and develop trainingIn some LOBs, delivers training involving technology and/or change event projectsMaintains working knowledge of training industry trends, including innovation, digital learning and new delivery modalitiesLeadershipMentors new and junior employeesGuides, motivates and encourages the team to stay focused while achieving a quality productReviews the work of other LDSs to ensure team standards are met, provides feedbackB.A. in Instructional Design or related experience in the field of Professional/Technical Writing, Performance Consulting, Training Development, etc.Requires 5 to 7 years in positions where instructional design, analysis, consulting skills were used frequently.,
