Job Description

Role Overview

Calypso Technology is seeking a talented and experienced Learning Development Partner to play a lead role in building and delivering a Calypso learning and development strategy. In this role, you will support Calypso in clarifying career pathways and build a robust offering of initiatives, experiences and programs that build Calypso employees into highly impactful and effective contributors, managers, and leaders.

The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a culture of learning and comes to Calypso with a deep understanding of learning and the ability to design meaningful and effective learning experiences.

Role and Responsibilities

Design Delivery

  • You will be involved in developing and executing a global Learning and Development roadmap focused on empowering employees with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles and to unlock potential.
  • You will help build and design a learning and career architecture for talent across Calypso, in partnership with the HR Business Partners and business stakeholders.
  • Optimize team dynamics at all levels through organizational development techniques and frameworks.
  • Launch and embed a management development program and a refresh of the high potentials program.
  • Envision, curate, and implement scalable learning and development initiatives for leaders and managers in line with Calypso s strategic objectives and goals and in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • You will also develop company-wide programs that articulate, teach and strengthen our values and culture.
  • Design innovative in-person and virtual learning experiences by developing training content, facilitator guides, websites, and other learning collateral.
  • Facilitate live and virtual programs in a way that is tailored and relevant to each audience.
  • You need to maintain knowledge of new and innovative techniques for blended development.

Reporting Analytics:

  • You will conduct learning needs analysis with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define the most pressing development needs and build impactful and high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize talent assessment data to identify employee learning and development needs; recommend and/or design learning solutions.
  • You need to review existing training programs; suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of Calypso.
  • You will also help build a data-driven learning culture by measuring the effectiveness of learning programs, reporting out, and using data insights to shape our learning roadmap and priorities.

Your experience

  • Extensive experience in a LD role across multiple, global locations, preferably, but not essential, in a software, technology business.
  • Design and delivery of a global learning development strategy / roadmap, with scale and bespoke solutions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience serving in a consultative capacity to senior business leaders.
  • Strong instructional design, delivery facilitation experiences.
  • Experience of psychometric and assessment tools (Hogan, 360s etc).
  • Partnering with high profile stakeholders.
