Job Description

ROLE: We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to provide administrative assistance to the Legal & Business Affairs Department. Responsibilities include drafting standard correspondence, developing and implementing new and simplified processes, maintaining trackers, coordinating agreement approvals and execution, tracking documents, preparing and maintaining status reports, word processing, performing general office tasks (such as printing, securing and affixing stamp duties, calendaring, filing and budget tracking) , and coordinating other legal and administrative matters directly with the business group. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects independently; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines; have great organization skills; have the ability to easily multitask; a high level of professionalism; integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information; ability to work well and communicate professionally with people at all levels inside and outside the company RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with the Legal & Business Affairs Department on matters related to the legal function. Perform administrative tasks such as file legal documents, schedule meetings, communicate with outside counsels as well as internal business units. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems. Maintain trackers for agreements- record receipt of intake sheets, update status on a daily basis, record completion of tasks, highlight outstanding issues and risand regular follow-ups. Draft standard correspondence. Develop and maintain new and simplified processes. Coordinate agreements approval and execution. Perform general office tasks such as printing, scanning agreements, securing and affixing stamp duties. Track payment of legal invoices. Track Legal Budget Spends. Maintain and search legal records located in computer databases. Regular communication with both the Legal & Business Affairs team and various JioSaavn business units to facilitate the processing and closure of agreements. REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) to Three (3) years of relevant experience working and assisting in a legal setting [e. g. law firm/ company s inhouse legal team] Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs . Proven ability to quickly understand and learn new skill sets and new areas of practice. Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communication styles to diverse audiences Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on time.
