Job Description

Position Overview and Responsibilities The position will sit within the Technology Legal Team. The hire will assist with project management and support the Technology Legal Team across the globe (with a focus on EMEA and APAC matters) in operational and other strategic initiatives. The role will report functionally (hard line) to a manager in Singapore and with a dotted line to a local supervisor. Key responsibilities include:

  1. assisting with strategic project planning and goal setting;
  2. creating structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals;
  3. developing and communicating clear and actionable deliverables or activities to be completed;
  4. providing project execution and governance:
  1. tracking deliverables and timelines throughout the project process;
  2. scheduling project team meetings to provide status updates;
  3. managing overall process of carrying out the project.
5. archiving project documentation:
  1. throughout the course of a project, working with project teams to ensure documentation, supporting materials and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams;
  2. upon completion of a project, compiling and documenting project information.
6. Working directly with members across Legal and corporate function teams, facilitating discussion and activities across functional teams to ensure coordinated efforts.Qualifications: Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a controls function (e.g., legal, compliance, finance or audit)
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel (pivot table and data manipulation, lookup/index/match functions, etc.), MS PowerPoint is required. MS SharePoint development and Visio / process mapping experience preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be a plus [1]
  • Superior organization skills, attention to detail, independent, adaptable, proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively partner with all levels across a diverse set of functions, locations and business. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to distill large bodies of information into key messages
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities ability to analyze situations with little guidance, perform self-guided research and offer creative solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and be successful in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups in a complex line of business, implementing new procedures, processes and systems is a plus
  • Ability to effectively partner with all levels across a diverse set of functions, locations and business
