In depth knowledge of Linux RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc. Proficient with command line management of Linux systems Experience with running web servers via Apache / Nginx / Lighttpd / others Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP Strong knowledge with Middleware platforms such as JBOSS and Apache Tomcat. Experience with HTTP servers and SSL implementation on Apache / JBoss EAP. Deep working experience with JBoss EAP 6.x, 7.x in standalone mode and managed domainmode. Intermediate database knowledge Install, configure, upgrade, migrate and automate Application Server and Web Serverenvironments. Perform daily system monitoring; verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, serverresources, systems and key processes; review system and application logs; verify completion ofscheduled jobs such as backups. Systems documentation and testing, including development of standard operationalprocedures. Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a24x7x365 uptime service Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project andoperational needs Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performanceexceptions Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers,workstations, and network hardware Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of theenvironment Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies anddeployment processes Experience with application server logging subsystem and web components. Experience with SQL tools in a Windows server or Linux environment. Provide 24/7 on call support to the development team in both testing and productionenvironment, and analysis (troubleshooting) of log files to resolve issues.
